An important part of our team’s mission is to assure sustainable materials and methods are utilized throughout the design, fabrication, and installation process.

In conjunction with our sign planning services, we provide complete guideline packages for master-planned sign programs, plus tenant sign criteria for retail and office projects. Ruben Andrews

Ruben Andrews is the president and founder of Graphic Solutions. His areas of specialization include visual communications, sign planning and design conception.

He has been actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Society of Experiential Graphic Designers and the American Institute of Graphic Arts.

Ruben has served as lead principal in many award-winning programs, including Tustin Market Place, Del Mar Highlands
Town Center, Piazza Carmel, Uptown District, Century Theaters, Anaheim Plaza, and Glendale Galleria.

Simon Andrews

Simon Andrews has been a principal with Graphic Solutions since 1976, serving as Vice President, and Secretary of Corporation. His responsibilities include problem-solving, design concepting, sign-planning and strategies for consensus-building. He has directed numerous award-winning projects for both private and public agency clients.

Simon has played an active role in a number of professional and civic organizations, including the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Society for Experiential Graphic Design, San Diego Environment and Design Council, and the American Society of Landscape Architects.

As a member of the Design Review Committee of the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Board, Simon assists in reviewing all proposed public and private projects on city park lands.

In addition, Simon has participated as a partner in private development teams, gaining first hand redevelopment experience and garnering Downtown Improvement Awards for both commercial and residential projects.

ARTEMISA ZUAZO - Project Manager/Designer

 Artemisa is an essential part of the Graphic Solutions design team, combining experience in graphic design and architecture, to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to environmental graphic design. She has a unique gift for conceptualizing the application of color to architectural spaces.

Her contributions to the design team include creating design concepts, sensitive and appropriate to their environments. Artemisa specializes in project management, design and programming wayfinding systems, and construction administration. 

Prior to joining the Graphic Solutions Team, Artemisa was on the staff of Neo Arquitectura, an architectural firm in Tijuana B.C. México.

LAURA FAIRBANKS - Operations Manager

Laura is the glue that holds the team together. Laura joined Graphic Solutions in 2009 and is now our General Operations Manager. Laura handles all operations, accounting and human resource functions. 

ROBERTO RODRIGUEZ - Designer

We are delighted to welcome Roberto to our design team. Roberto earned his masters degree from the New School of Architecture and Design. His background in graphics, architecture and interior design will round out our talented team of professionals.

JORDAN TURKOMANI - Designer

Jordan is a recent addition to the Graphic Solutions design team. Informed by her multidisciplinary background combining experience in architecture, interior design, and graphic design, Jordan takes a holistic and inventive approach to her work.
